Hugh Baird
11/12/2007 - Hope St Hotel
Clear Contact in partnership with the work force development team at Hugh Baird College held an event on the 11 December 2007 at the Hope Street Hotel which was a great success and we had over 130 guests.
Our aim for the event was to provide Hugh Baird with a platform to promote the apprenticeship schemes to the business community of Liverpool, hopefully resulting in more local employers taking an apprentice into their workforce.
Apprenticeships are designed so that the development of the younger workforce is tailored to meet your business needs of today and in the future. Apprentices are motivated, keen to learn and are ready to contribute to your business from day one.
A skilled workforce is becoming harder and harder to find, with an apprenticeship you are guaranteed a skilled workforce for the future and it is a proven fact - apprentices remain employer loyal.
Many of our guests have pledged to take apprentices into their work force, and many more have planned meeting with the team at Hugh Baird to find out how the scheme would benefit their work force .
Apprentices can cost less than national minimum wage and are constantly increasing their skill set with their one day release back to the college per week, making them a viable asset.
